Obituary of Roberta Sophia Penney

Age 64, of Halifax, passed away on Tuesday September 4, 2018, surrounded by her family at home. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late John and Josephine (Taylor) Penney. She is survived by her husband, Owen Byard; daughter, Josephine (Leo MacDonald); brother, Billy; sister, Glen Field; grandchildren Justin, Brandon and Christopher. She was predeceased by brothers, Johnny, Vincent, Alexander “Alec” and sisters, Gladys Jackson and Frances Penney.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. where a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday September 8 at 1p.m.. Interment to take place at a later date.
