Obituary of Cynthia Linkletter

56, Spryfield. It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of mom on September 15, 2018 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary. She was an exceptional woman who had a huge heart for children and animals, especially her grandchildren and family dog “Lily”. Mom was the glue that held our family together and was known as the neighborhood dentist, whenever a child needed their tooth pulled they would go to mom before they would go to their own parents. Mom loved to sing but couldn’t carry a tune.

She will be greatly missed by her common-law spouse, Wayne Cameron; sons, Michael Spates (Louralee Drysdale) Ontario, Jeffrey Spates, Halifax; daughter, Megan Spates (Mike Gates), Halifax; brother, Allan Linkletter, Cape Breton; grandson, Andrew Hubley, Halifax; granddaughter, Stacy Gates, Halifax; nieces, Kaylynn Sylliboy and Faye Sylliboy, Cape Breton.

She was predeceased by her brother, Donald Linkletter and sister, Suzanne Linkletter.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., following cremation a celebration of life will take place on Friday September 21, 2018 at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
