Obituary of George Harry Williams

Age 83, Lower Sackville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday October 15, 2018 at the Dartmouth General. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Harold and Elizabeth Williams.

George was a hard worker all of his life. He was a good man, good hearted and a good provider to his family and always enjoyed a good meal. He also had a special love for his friend Max. He enjoyed doing puzzles and playing bingo. He was a crossing guard for many years and loved the kids. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Elizabeth Dowe; daughter, Shelley; brothers, Gordon and Jim; sisters, Susan, Mildred, Sheila, Meata and Violet and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Freeman and Chess.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. By request there will be no visitation or service. Interment to take place at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Oceanview Manor 3^rd floor for all their care and also to the Dartmouth General for their care
