Obituary of Richard Warren Moffatt

Age 71 of Halifax passed away surrounded by family on Monday, October 22, 2018 at the VG Site, QEII Palliative care.  He was a son of the late Warren and Sheila (Joudrey) Moffatt.  

You could always catch Richard watching television, he loved watching sports especially his two favorite teams, the Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs.  He loved being outside, going fishing or taking a day trip in the car.  He loved being surrounded by company.  Richard was especially known for his smart one liners, sense of humor and sarcasm.   

He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Moffatt; son, Tim (Mirela); daughter, Kimberly (Doug) Kline; grandchildren, Megan (Chad), Malerie and Luca; great-granddaughter, Katelyn; brothers, Ralph (Barb), Robert (Eleena), Phillip (Carol) and Donnie (Florence); sisters, Linda (Benny) and Beverly (Rick); many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his grandmother, Alma Joudrey.  

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd, as per Richards wishes there will be no visitation.  A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
