Obituary of Doris Genevieve Gallant

Age 89, Halifax, passed away Sunday November 11, 2018 at the QEII V.G Site. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late William and Agnes (O’Connell) Lawrence.

Doris is survived by sons, David, Halifax; William (Carol), Eastern Passage; daughter, Doris Walsh (James), Fall River; brother, Gerald (Adelaid), Halifax; eight grandchildren; many great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard; sons, Edward, Gerald and Leonard; brothers, William and Arthur; and sister, Agnes.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. where visitation will be held today and Thursday from 2-4pm. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Michael’s Church, St. Michaels Ave. Friday November 16 at 11am. Interment to take place in Gate Of Heaven Cemetery Lower Sackville. No flowers please, memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Fund or Christmas Daddies Fund.
