I just discovered the obituary notice for Mrs. Thomas. I was one of the youngsters she minded and I have nothing but the warmest memories of her. My deepest condolences to the family. Her positive influence on the people around her has ripples out to this day, where I have often drawn on the life-lessons she embodied to share with my daughters when my time came to be a parent. I hope she rests unburdened with the angels who no doubt welcomed her. My deepest and abiding affection ma'am. Thank you for being in my life.

My Nana always taught me 3 things 1. Never feel sorry for yourself 2. No matter how little you have there is always enough to go around 3. Never take the last of anything leave it for someone else who needs it more. She was the strongest most loving woman I have even known and I can only hope to be half the lady she was and I know she is always by my side she used to tell me everyone we spoke "hunny there is nothing in the world you could do that would make me love you less, I love you to bits and pieces my pet xox" I love you Nana for Eva and Eva and I named my beautiful daughter after your mother miss Violet Darlene Marie King and she would make your heart melt Nana. Love your pet xo

My deepest condolences to the family. I am the daughter of Clara and Arthur Marryatt. I have many fond memories of Tally. She was a very special person to our family. My brother Roy especially had a deep connection with Tally.
So sorry that I just learned of her passing or I would been there with the family.

Thelma was such an amazing person, I will never forget her beautiful soul. I loved hearing her stories she would tell me about when she took care of all her children and when I would tell her a story about my son she would laugh and say she had to deal with at least 10 or more kids imagine that haha. She was tough but also loving. I will forever miss you Thelma ❤️♥️

She will always be remembered for her love of children and animals. I still remember her breaking out in song at any given moment. I used to tell her I'm bringing my plants into you, she had the most beautiful plants( a real green thumb). Always in my thoughts ❤️

As one of your moms many caregivers I will always remember her for her love of the color red. When she found out I had a red car she use to say that it was hers on loan to me and I was not to scratch it. She even went so far as to say one day that she was going to get a tow truck to have it towed and parked in her room. She also gave me the nickname " party girl" after finding out that I did have friends and wasnt alone in this world. You could tell she had love for children as she always had a story to tell of her own children or those that she looked after. Your mom will always be remembered and lovingly missed by all of us. May she fly high with the angels watching over all of us. See you again Thelma, love your " party girl with the red car".

Thelma was a very special person. As a caretaker to her she became very close to me and my family. She truly loved children deeply and never forgot to ask about mine or send them little treats on holidays. She gave me lots of advice over the years and even was as excited as me when I found out I was expecting for the first time. Many years of laughs and crys together. I truly loved her like family. She will be forever missed at glasco hall.
