Thank you for your service and dedication. I will always remember the first dykes and divas ballgame. I made it to second base, my hair never lookedn so good after Boom Boom did me up. RIP

Thoughts and prayers for your friends and famil, especially Ed’s husband John. . Your passing will be a huge hike in the Halifax community. You were always so vibrant, opinionated and forthright. A character bigger than life that will never be forgotten. The heavens will be more vibrant and lively with your presence. Fly like you have never flown before. And don’t forget to take an extra pair of shoes.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Ed's passing. Ed (Boom Boom) was such a big part of the community and will be greatly missed by all. Ed was one of the first Queens I met when I came out and I'll always remember playing ball in the very first "Dykes vs. Divas" ball game with Boom Boom. We had a blast. Our condolences to John and Ed's entire family.

It's always hard to say goodbye to those we love ..... That's a price we pay for loving and being loved.
These times bring back a lot of memories. Some make us smile, others make us sad. But they should always remind us of a life well lived.

So sad to hear of Ed's passing. My heartfelt condolences to his husband and entire family and friends. Ed was one of the first people I met after coming out in 2007 when I volunteered for my first pride parade. I hugely loving person with seemingly infinite spirit and kindness. He will be sorely missed by everyone in the community.

Ed, or Boom Boom, taught us what fiercely beautiful really was. He was the first person I ever met in drag, and a Caper at that. He taught me not only when to say, he and she, but that a boy from Mira really can be anything he wants. Miss you Ed

I consider it such an honor to have had the opportunity to have had my path cross with you Ed. From sharing life stories....Drag tips....you always made me a better performer.....for what ever charity i was onstage to attempt to raise money ....
.But most of all.. my pleasure came from ..the Sharing of Faith....and our discussions about the ways to bring hope to the hopeless....compassion...to the down trodden...encouragement...and integrity ....joy...and mostly how to give a person the sense of self worth ....to challenge them to embrace and celebrate their lives and their giftings .
We talked several times in how we can change the world One act of kindness at a time...and how selfless love can push back the clouds of darkness......You have fought hard to make a difference....and YOU DID....may you rest in peace in God's arms....as you are forever in so many hearts....
.please smile down on those you love and give them signs all is well . You live in our hearts and minds...But draw near with your spirit..
.i could have written pages about your life impact on our 5 year friendship.....But after everything else is gone....the spirit remains....and these 3 abide...Faith Hope and LOVE But the Greatest of these is love......God's LOVE toward us...and Our Love towards each other.....sending you air Hugs......

Ed, you were more than my best friend! We grew close in the short 10 years we spent together. I will never forget having to pull boom booms bags around for her!
Let’s not make this a good bye, but a see you later moment!
I love you and will miss you so very much!

Mr. Ed Savage, May you rest in peace and embrace god's love. Look down, bless and wish us all well until we meet again.
Mr. Savage used to be a part of Melville Lodge in Spryfield NS as the activites director. Ed saw my compassion and need to volunteer to keep me out of trouble and a part of my community. I volunteered under Ed entertaining and keeping company of those living at Melville Lodge.
I can not thank you enough.
Blessings to his husband as I have heard good things about in stories Ed would share to help me cope with the bullying I received in school coming out as gay in junior high.
R.I.P ED, I will see you again someday.
