Obituary of Loreto V Lacopia

Age 77 of Halifax passed away peacefully on July 1st 2019 at 5:30p.m. surrounded by his family after fighting an incredible battle of Alzheimer's & Dementia for the past few years.  He was a son of the late Francisco and falisa Lacopia. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Enriqueta “Tita” Lacopia; son, Anthony “Tony” Lacopia; daughter, Leslie (James) Briggs; sisters, Delia Lacopia and Julianita Lacopia (Tony Hilarin); many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brother, Nuneriano Babilona. 

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., In keeping with Loreto’s wishes there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian burial will take place Saturday June 6, 2019 at 11 a.m. from St. Michaels Catholic Church. Burial to follow at The Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Loreto’s memory to St. Michaels Parish.
