Obituary of Gordon Fredrick Perks

Age 88 of Halifax passed away July 22, 2019. Gordon started his career in 1951 with the RCMP Marine Division for 2 ½ years, then joining the Fire Department in December of 1959.  Gordon retiring in 1990 from DND as Deputy Fire Chief.  He is survived by his son, Ronald Perks; daughter, Brenda Lee Perks; Grandchildren, Gregory Perks, David Perks, Christopher Perks, Steven Verbeek and Shawn Verbeek.  Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., In keeping with Gordon's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.
