Obituary of Leona Vennie Markey

Age 80,  Halifax, passed away peacefully Saturday August 31, 2019 at Northwood Centre. Born in Charlos Cove, she was a daughter of the late Abraham and Julia (Pellrine) Gerrior. She is survived by son, Darrell (Wanda); daughter, Darlene Fredette (Rick); sisters, Louise Gerrior; Jean Borland; Judy Dorion; grandchildren, Jennifer, Brittney and Christine and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, John and sister, Helena McIsaac and a brother in infancy.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. where a funeral service will take place on Monday September 9 at 11 a.m. Interment to take place at a later date.
