Obituary of Kathleen Rosemary Brewer

BREWER (HORNE), Kathleen Rosemary “Kaye”- Age 99, Dartmouth/Halifax passed away September 18, 2019 at Northwood Care Ivany Place.  Born in Dartmouth, NS on February 19, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Edith (Cox) Horne.  She is survived by her daughters, Marcia McIntyre, Carol (Don Cormier d.) and Gail (David Johnson), all from Halifax; son, Cleve (Michelle) Brewer, Halifax; grandchildren, Michael MacEachern, Gary, Gregory (Rhonda) Wilson, Joel (Laura) and Ryan (Candice) Brewer; great- grandchildren, Ryan, Blake, Tyler, Jacob Wilson and Isla Brewer; many nieces and nephews and a special sister-in-law Hazel Albert, who was a constant and caring friend.  She was predeceased by her husband Cleveland Burns Brewer; infant Patricia Adams; brothers Roy and Fred Horne.  Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd.  In keeping with Kathleen’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A private family committal will be held at a later date.
