Obituary of Sally Elizabeth Campbell

Age 70 of Halifax, passed away on October 20, 2019 at the QEII VG site.

Sally was a great cook and loved cooking with her mom and sister at Christmas. She loved travelling and was never seen without a good book. She was a strong supporter of women's rights. Sally loved the beach but her favorite time was skating on outdoor rinks. On her last night, she told us all to go home and as we kissed her goodnight, she whispered, one more time around the ice.

She is survived by her son, John James Campbell; sister, Susan (David) Pye; Middleton; brother, Douglas (Susan) Campbell, Yarmouth.

She was predeceased by her parents, John James Jr and K. Elizabeth Campbell (MacPhail); 1^st husband, Dr. H H Chesney of France; sister, Carole Moulton; brother, Ken Campbell.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, where a service of remembrance will be held on November 4, 2019 at 10 am from the funeral home chapel. The family would like to thank the 7th floor palliative nurses, especially Monica and Melanie, and a special thank you to Krystle Campbell who went above and beyond for John James and the family. in lieu of flowers the family ask that everyone do an act of kindness.
