Obituary of John Charles Snow

Age 63, Spryfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 2^nd , 2019 after a long battle with cancer. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Alfred and Irene (Bowman) Snow. He was a long time cab driver for Armdale Taxi Service.

He will be deeply missed by partner, Deena LaBlanc; stepchildren Serina Patterson (Angus), Teena Snow (Craig Dowling) Bruce Snow (Amanda), Heather Ledson (Jeremy) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Lillian Veith (Edward), Gloria Saulnier (Ray), Donna Snow (John Peet), Helen “Pinky” Galley (Jadey); brothers, Alfred Snow (Dorothy), Henry Snow (Brenda Zinck), Paul Snow (Madonna); godchildren, Natasha Heywood, Brandi Veith, Nathan Shanks, David Campbell and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Marilyn Davenport (David), Alfreda Kavanaugh (James), Sandra Forret (Walter), Heather Tarrant (Ben) and brother, Bruce Snow.

Cremation has been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 8^th between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Golden Age Center, 212 Herring Cove Rd. Spryfield. In lieu of flowers donations in John’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada.
