Jane, I was so shocked to here of Clair's passing. We have some great memories of Clair when John and Mathew were in gymnastics together, he was always so good to our family. Our entire family is deeply sorry for your loss and you will all be in our prayers and thoughts at this difficult time.

I am deeply sorry for your loss, I know the heartache of losing a loved one. Soon the God of Comfort will bring an end to death and wipe away the tears from all faces, for this has been promised at Isaiah 25:8. We can also look forward to the marvelous hope brought out at Acts 24:15 There we see that those we lost in death will be brought back to life here on earth. Jane and family: We were so surprised and saddened to hear of Clare's sudden passing. He was always such a fun loving, vibrant person and we have great memories of the fun times playing washer toss and sitting around the camp fire with Brian and Judy telling stores of our shared childhoods growing up in Queensport. Coming from "down home" was always our common bond, and he never forgot where he came from. He was always a joy to make homemade treats and pickles for and he had a genuine love of people, camping and the outdoors. His life was "well lived" and hopefully this will be some consolation to all of you as you go through the grieving process. Cherish all your memories, and our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

I was very pleased to know Clare. I met him in 1979 and he helped me in training for my Boston qualifier. He was genuine in his interest to see runners improve, enjoyed a good chuckle and wasa more than a good runner himself. My sincere condolences to Jane and his family and friends.
