Obituary of Douglas Alfred Irons

Age 80, Harrietsfield, passed away surrounded by his family on December 17, 2019 at home. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late George and Emily (Wright) Irons. Doug is survived by son, Douglas (Terri); daughters, Debbie Irons-Kelly (Mike), Heather Irons (Mike); brothers, Harry, Donnie, Bobby, Billy, Bruce, Greg, Gerald and Keith; grandchildren, Corey, Chad, Breanna, Brennan and Brycen; great grandchildren, Ryder, Hunter and Maverick and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Colleen (Fiander); son, Derek. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday December 22 at 2 pm from Emmanuel Anglican Church 322 Herring Cove Rd., reception to follow in the church hall. Interment to take place at a later date.
