Because there is little identifying information in the obituary I am not sure if this is the David Young I worked with as a CST representative over 25 years ago but I feel that it probably is. I am saddened to see this in today's newspaper. David was always professional and very easy to work with in promoting the importance of planning ahead for funding post-secondary education. One event that stands out was his suggestion that CST have a float in the Dartmouth Natal Day parade. His two children, and my youngest, sat in the float, and I walked beside it dressed as a clown, the only time I have ever done something like that in my life.
I have not had contact with David or his family for many years but have good memories of the association we did have so many years ago. Age 67 is too young. Condolences to all the family. Janet MacLennan, Dartmouth, NS
