Obituary of Johnston Jean Frances

Age 96, of Halifax, passed away peacefully at Arbourstone Enhanced Care on February 9, 2020. Born in Chester, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Maggie (Cleveland) Gates.

Jean is survived by son, John; grandchildren, Paul (Tracey), Bill (Tina) and Ritchie (Kim); great grandchildren, Ashley, Kyle, Baillie and Jamison; great great grandchildren. Amaiyah and Deshawn and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred; son, Kevin and several siblings.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. As per Jean’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
