Linda, Fred, Mary, Dianna and Wilma,
I was surprised to read of Lilla's passing. My sincere condolences to all of you. I have so many great memories of teaching with Lilla at Falmouth and I will never forget all the great times we had at dances and staff parties. You knew you were going to have a good time if you were with Lilla and Sid. When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Cherish your many memories. Sending kind thoughts and deepest sympathy.
Sincerely,
Debbie (DeWolfe) and Phillip Scott

Hi, Linda,
We were so sorry to see the notice of your mother's passing in the Herald.
We had a lot of smiles together when she lived at Aberdeen Hall. She was so very proud of you and we always knew if you had been here because she would talk about it.
She loved music and being outside on a sunny day, especially in the early days. She had lots of memories about teaching and her students. She had a lovely apartment with that beautiful lamp. Even though her health changed and she moved to Evan Hall where we didn't see her as often, she knew us when we would see her there and she often had a hug for us.
Thinking of you, Shari Landry and Sally Robertson, Parkland Clayton Park

To all the Kilcup family, we are so sorry to hear the passing of Lilla. I have known Lilla for over 50 years. She was like a second mother to me & my sister Janet growing up across the street from her in Windsor, NS. She was a best friend to our mother, Eileen and we always could count on Lilla showing up on our doorstep for a cup of tea after teaching all day. Our mother & Lilla would always raid each other's kitchen cupboards when they were missing an ingredient for baking/cooking. We could always count on Lilla to feed our cat, she was the best neighbor you could ever have. Even though I have lived out west for 45 years, Lilla remained one of my best friends, we would talk for hours on the phone. I will miss not being able to pick up the phone & just say hi. Lilla was such a big part of my family, my heart aches.
