Obituary of Robert Clarence Walker

WALKER, Robert Clarence– age 70 of Halifax. After a long, brave battle with diabetes, kidney disease and Parkinson’s, Robert is now at home with the Lord, loved family and friends. He was born to Sidney and Pricilla Jean (Smith) Walker.

He is survived by his loving and supporting wife, Karen (Shields); brothers, Harold (Joan), Skip (Dale); sisters, Dorothy Isaac (George), Glady Moore (Kenny). He was predeceased by brothers, Kenny, Roy, and Doug; sisters, Ella Hennigan, Jean Jack, Helen Grandy, and Elizabeth Martin. Robert had a large family of many nephews, nieces, and in-laws.

Special thanks to Brenda and Chris for always being there, and to his VON. Arrangements have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. Visitation will take place Thursday, September 10 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the funeral home parlour, followed by a graveside service on Friday, September 11 at 11:00am at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 585 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville. The family asks that those attending to please bring a single flower to be laid with Robert.
