Obituary of Jean (Margaret) McLean

Age 81, of Elmsdale. It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Jean (Margaret) McLean on January 13, 2021 at Admiral Long Term Care Centre in Dartmouth. She was a daughter of the late Robert and Katherine (Hudson) Bowen from Pictou.

When not busy taking care of her family and spending time with her friends, she loved to make crafts and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her sons, Scott and Karl; brother, Jimmy Bowen (Theresa); sister, Ruth Strong (John); grandchildren, Alexander and Alicia McLean.  She is predeceased by her husband, Milton McLean, and brothers Bob and Morris Bowen.

Arrangements have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. Cremation will take place, followed by interment in Fairview Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
