Dear Pierrette and Family
There are some things in this world that are difficulty to put into words. One of those things, for me at least, is to express adequately what I feel about the passing of your Grandmother - Gloria Eugenia Hilton.
Bessie and I were always honored to be in the company of such a "Grand" lady. She always inquired as to how we were doing and made us feel welcomed to your family gatherings. I will never forget the friendliness and kindness she extended to us on such occasions.
Gloria exhibited a wonderful treasure trove of those social values of ‘Days Gone By’ but are nonetheless still very much relevant for our lives today. She was a woman of exceptional charm, warmth and wisdom; her loss is sure to leave a void, in all who knew her, that will not be readily filled.
She just seemed to have those natural characteristics and abilities that inspired and enlivened those around her to acquire their finest achievements. I feel certain in saying that she was both liked and respected by everyone with whom she came into contact. She will continue to live in our memories and our hearts.
Please know that I join in your grief. My sincere and deepest sympathies to you and your family in this time of loss and sorrow. May your memories be a source of comfort. Please call if there is anything I can do to help.

Your mother was a very nice person and we all remember her from the Olympic Gardens era. She was also a very good friend of my mother,Lois ; my father, Frank,and all of the Beeds.Your mother knew most of us before we were even born.In those days she was more like an aunt than just a friend of the family. Clyde and Gloria were a part of my family since he served as best man at my parents wedding. There were a lot of drives before my Mom learned how to drive and sometimes baked treats from your mother. Lori, Chris, Mike and families,
Your Mom was indeed a very special lady, whose light touched many people over the years. We are thankful to have been able to spend time with her, enjoying our tea time chats and visits, and sharing memories of our mom, her sister, with her. Dear Laurie and family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your dear mom. She was a genuine friend and long time neighbor of my mom. I looked forward to hearing about their fun filled evenings together and learning all about her many teddy bears she knit for the IWK. Dear Laurie, Mike and Chris and families,
I had the pleasure of knowing your dear Mother Gloria for the past 46 years. She was a very special friend and neighbor. We enjoyed many evenings knitting and playing the "cookies games" on the ipad. We also enjoyed the occasional glass of wine. Had many laughs and good times. Although I will miss her dearly, I hold and cherish her memories dear in my heart.
