Obituary of Marlene Rogers

Age 82, Halifax, passed away February 6, 2021 at the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Halifax October 12, 1938, she was a daughter of the late William B. and Barbara E. (Thorpe) Rogers.

Marlene is survived by son, Gary (Joann), Truro; grandchildren, Theresa and Dave Wright and Jason Knight; great grandchildren, Makail, Ashton and Ella Wright; great great grandson, Gavin Wright; brother, Douglas (Ruth). She was predeceased by her 1st husband, John M. Knight and 2nd husband, Donald K. McCue; brothers, Donn, Lonn, Russell, Allen, Buddy and Laurie; sisters, Barbara, Vera, Donna and Oriana.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. As per Marlene’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. Anyone wishing to make donations in memory, can donate to the Canadian Cancer Society.
