Obituary of Beverley Anne DeYoung

Age 73, Halifax, long time resident of Kline Heights, passed away March 13, 2021, with her family by her side, at the V.G. Site, QEII. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary Anna “Anna” DeYoung.

She was a resident at Cowie Hill Lodge, where she enjoyed bingo, pool, fixing cars and other activities with her many friends and neighbors who she loved like family and loved her. She was a country music fan and also loved walks and picnics with her friends and family at the Dingle Park. She is survived by daughter, Paula; son Paul “Fuzzy” both of Halifax; granddaughters Shelbie and Kaylee (Tyler); fur babies Meko, Jaxx and Charlie; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and one special niece Barbara. She was predeceased by sisters, Kay, Eileen and Margaret; brothers, James, Michael, Donald and Gordon and many aunts and uncles.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. As her wishes there will be no service. Interment to take place at a later date.
