Obituary of Olga Fern Slaunwhite-Reid

Halifax, passed away at home peacefully, Tuesday afternoon, May 25,2021 surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Charlottetown, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Harris and Nora (MacLean) Arnold.  Olga dedicated her life, heart and soul to her family, and her family in PEI, they meant the world to her, right up to her last moments. She was known to many as Mom, she touched so many lives.  She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving and devoted companion of 15 years, Wayne Slaunwhite, who affectionately called her “sweetie”, her beloved daughters, Starr, Michelle (Mark), Sherri (Jake), and Lisa (Dimo)

Olga was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been predeceased by all her brothers and sisters. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Donna “Fern”.  She is loved and will be missed by her grandchildren, Tammy, David, Michael, Josh, Ashlee, Justin, MJ, Kiel, Cody, Haylea, Kosta.  Her great-grandchildren, Alenna, Callee, Brayden.  So many nieces and nephews to mention, but she loved them all. She is so loved and will be so missed by so many.

Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Funeral Home (2005) Ltd.   A service will be held at a later date.
