Obituary of Gregory Bernard Marriott

65, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 29 2021 at the Halifax Infirmary, Palliative Care, Halifax.  Born in Halifax, he was a son of Ronald and the late Margaret (Morrissey) Marriott.  Throughout his life, Greg has worked in various trades and had a special love for cats.  He is survived by his father, Ronald, Timberlea, his son, Ronnie (Maryann Howlett), Timberlea, his daughter, Margaret (Byron Frizzell), PEI, and his granddaughters, Victoria and Danielle, as well as nephews, Sean and Christopher, an aunt, uncles, many cousins and friends, and his ex-wife, Patsy Dahr.

He was predeceased by his mother, Margaret, his sister, Mary, a brother in infancy, Edwin, a niece, Rebecca, and his girlfriend, Tanya Swinemar, who passed away on May 27, 2021.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd.  Cremation has taken place.  A graveside service will be held on August 20, 2021 at 11 AM at St. Peter's Cemetery, Dartmouth, NS.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Greg may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society.  Due to COVID restrictions, a burial will take place at a later date.
