Obituary of Lianne Barbara Frank

It is with sadness that we say goodbye (“see you tomorrow”) to our sweet angel Lianne Barbara (LeeLee) Frank.

Mom and Dad’s baby girl, Lianne was born in Halifax on June 24, 1970, and was the youngest of 12 children. She is the daughter of our amazing mother Helen Marie Frank (MacIntyre), and is predeceased by our adoring father Roland Edward Frank and infant twin sisters Lee-Anne and Susanne. Lianne is sweet sister to Jay, Kim, Lisa, Kelly, Gordon, Brett, Jody, and half brother and sister Barry and Dawn. Lianne’s favourite day, June 24th, will not go unmarked as her mother and siblings will celebrate what would have been her 51st birthday.

Lianne loved nothing more than the blue sky on a sunny day, and she enjoyed baking for her family on the holidays. She had a great love for animals and she had the most contagious laugh. Lianne had such a special bond with all her nieces and nephews and they will always remember her funny jokes. Just as Lianne spent her live under the unconditional loving wing of our parents, her last months were cherished by her mother, sisters, brothers and her wonderful nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

Lianne was a life long member of St. Michael’s Church. Our family wishes to thank Father Owen Connolly, the nurses, doctors and staff at Hospice Halifax and on 5A at the VG Hospital.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. In lieu of flowers, donations in LeeLee’s memory may be made to Hospice Halifax.
