Obituary of Donald Kelly MacIntyre

Age 77, Dartmouth, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2021 at the Dartmouth General Hospital.

Donnie was the 8^th of 14 children born to John and Gladys MacIntyre (nee Kelly) on November 27, 1943 in Halifax and raised on Mayor Ave. Spryfield.

He had a gift and a talent for golf, he was a member of the Brightwood Golf Club for many years, and Golf Champion at the Air Lane Golf Club in his early years. Don was also a champion bowler at one time.

He was employed at Canada Post for many years before his retirement.

He is survived by his companion and best friend Peggy Angus; sons, Donnie, Jonathan and Jason all of Halifax; daughter, Charlene (Paul) Bishop, Stillwater Lake; grandchildren, Matthew MacIntyre, Raine and Ryan Bishop; brothers, Gordon (Wendy), Truro, Joe, Rick (Jackie), Gerry (Mille) and Michael, all of Halifax; sister, Margo (Francis MacArthur) and special sister, Helen Frank, Halifax and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents, brothers, Jack and Doug; sisters, Barb Candler, Patsy Just, Marie MacIntyre and Marilyn Lye.

Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
