Diane Bowman Cornfield

Sept 27, 1947 - August 17, 2021

Diane Bowman Cornfield passed peacefully at Arborstone Nursing Home in Halifax N. S.  She was the daughter of the late Vern and Mabel Bowman of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. She is survived by her daughter Deborah Lehmann of Ottawa, twin sister to Doug Bowman (Barb) of Sault Ste. Marie, Aunt to Greg Bowman (Sue) and Kevin Bowman (Michelle) of Cambridge, Ontario, great-aunt of Ethan, Evan, Elyce, Madison and Bryan.

After spending many years in Toronto, Diane moved back to Halifax in the late 1990's to enjoy the ocean, in a place she truly felt at home.  Diane was known for her charisma and had a passion for the theatre, music and photography.  One of her favourite things to do was connect with old friends and tell stories about her adventures.

We wish to thank Arborstone Nursing Home for their care of Diane, and Tracy Cook of the Public Trustees Office of Nova Scotia for looking after her affairs.

The family is grateful to Jim and Kate of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home in Halifax for handling all the details so we could bring Diane back to Ontario.

At the request of the family cremation has taken place, and there will be no service at this time.
