My condolences to Walters family and friends. I knew Walter through Northwood. His love for coffee was beyond any other coffee lover. Rest easily to a very sweet man.

We have very special memories of Walter and Lisa over the years. We were very privileged to meet with them for several years.
He always had a wonderful smile and firm handshake no matter where we met. We often met them doing their "Mall Walk".

Our condolences too to all Walter's family. He was very good to visit with and his wife Lisa since we knew them since 25 years before. Were so glad that he had it fairly comfortable while living in Halifax in their last years.

Evelyn and John Turner I would like to send my condolences to you. I liked working with Walter and Liza at preps in Nova Scotia. I'm working in Ukraine now and wondering if Walter has any relatives still alive here in Ukraine. I would love to visit them and tell about knowing Walter and Liza in Canada.

We send our love and deep sympathy. Walter and Lisa were a very dear, much loved couple. We were fortunate to meet them through mutual friends, Helmut and Lydia Neuhold. Very much appreciated both couples…always loved, always missed.
Hugs from Aubrey and Mary Anderson

Walter was a special uncle and a faithful example. He came to Canada in the mid 1950s. In Canada, Walter traveled to the west coast, up to the Yukon and through Quebec before eventually settling in Toronto, ON where he met and married Lisa. They were in their fifties when they attended a Gospel meeting and found a fellowship of faith that they gave their hearts and lives to. When Walter and Lisa retired they moved and settled in Bedford, NS. They made many new Friends which became lasting relationships and their home was always a place of warm fellowship. Walter spent his last years at Northview Terrace in Halifax where he was well looked after by a kind and caring staff and visited often by dear Friends and Workers. Walter was a contented man and appreciated and loved by those who knew him. We will greatly miss him.
