I always laugh at the picture of Joe & Simone Pitzel with Joan and Harry, back in the 80's - because Joan has a plant for a hat. The 2nd picture is when Joan and Harry came out to my parents 50th wedding anniversary in Halifax in May 2010. I have video of them too from that occasion ! I loved them both and just now learned of Harry's passing 2 years after. I would search on the internet and nothing ever came up until suddenly today and I am filled with emotion. They both were very dear friends with my Mom and Dad since the 80's so I would see them over the years when I came home to Nova Scotia to visit. They were both such good people and after Joan passed away I did have some contact with Harry by phone/letters. He was a gentle giant that could make us all laugh. I loved his spirit.
