I met Xavier when he was about 5 years old at his Nan and Pop Deveau's. I was immediately drawn to him; walking around with his hand's in his pant pockets; walking Mac (dog) in the yard, those big blue eyes, that bright smile and his HUGE gentle heart. He stole a piece of my heart and I will never forget you Xavier I'm so lucky and blessed to have known you. Rest in Peace precious one.

I had the great pleasure of being Xavier's support teacher for two years. Seeing him bounce into my room everyday to work on reading was a bright spot in my day. No matter the challenges he faced, he walked the halls of William King with joy, confidence, and maybe a bit of swagger. He was happiest learning while we moved and boy could he ride a plasma car like we were competing in Nascar! When it came to cars he had big plans to buy fancy cars when he was older and a solid plan to finance that - get the money from mom and dad! He was such a respectful, kind, and empathetic kid to everyone. I was heartbroken to hear of his passing - while the earth became a little dimmer the Heavens shone brighter. To The Deveau Family We are so very sorry for the loss of your precious son Xavier. We first meant Xavier when he started playing ball in Spryfield, He certainly gave it his all, I remember Xavier the very first time we meant him. We were sitting watching the ball game and he came over and said hi and asked me how was I doing, We didnt know Xavier and he didnt know us but we chatted a few minutes and when he got up to go over to his bench he looked at us and said well I guess it is time to play ball and every time after that he would always wave and say hi he was quite the little charmer. He certainly lived life to the fullest . May The Lord wrap His Loving arms around all of you at this very sad and difficult time and Bless all of you. Remember all the great times all of you and Xavier shared and when you look up at the night sky and see a special star twinkling that will be Xavier winking at you and letting you know that everything is fine and he is your families special angel and that he loves all of you very much.
