I was sorry to hear about Charlie's passing. My condolences to Anna and the family.
I have many great memories from over the years of Charlie, whether it was bowling, hockey (go Montreal !) or ball all of which were his passions.

Many years ago in the early 70s my family moved to Spryfield, from a farm in Shubenacadie. The Norman’s lived across the street from us then. I have the fondest memories of their family and I always admired how loving and close knit they were. Years pass and times change but we never forget the ones that formed our memories as children. I haven’t seen any of your family in many, many years, but all of you are there in my childhood. Anna I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Charlie, he will always be remembered. Take strength in the love that surrounds you with your beautiful children and grandchildren.
Prayers and love to you all, Charlie. Jr. , Mary, John Bernadette and Ronnie, I know you don’t remember me, but I will always remember you and your loving Mom and Dad.
Hugs.
Terri Baker (Spares)

Sincere condolences to the Norman family. Have known Charlie for many years through the ball field, playing for him and against him. Much better to be on his team for sure. Always a story and a smile, you always felt good spending time with him. I was lucky to have known him. The world has lost another one of the "Good Guys". RIP Charlie, you are sorely missed already.

I will always remember how I would always try to grab a piece of his steak when I would visit, or talk during one of his movies he was watching from his armchair, and most of all I remember the look I would get lol.. but somehow i would get a piece of steak and he would let me ask what movie was on. My buddy! He will be missed by so many.

I am broken hearted for you - I can remember well over 50 years ago when you and Charlie used to come visit when we lived in the Park. You were together for so long. The love and laughter you shared over these years will bring you and your family comfort in the coming days. Charlie did not change a bit in this photo. He was one of the best. xo
