Obituary of Randell Harry Boutilier

BOUTILIER, Randell “Randy” Harry, age 63, of Halifax.  It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Randy, on July 6, 2022.   Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Harry and Helen Boutilier.  He was a welder-fitter until his illness stopped him from working.  He was an amazing and loving father, partner, brother, and uncle. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, golfing, and bowling.  Randy collected comics and movies.  He loved life, along with his family and friends. He leaves behind to mourn, his life partner, Rosemary Hughes, sons, Kyle and Jason, brothers, Kenny (Colleen), and Paul (Marilyn), a niece, Krista, nephews, Wade, Shane, Sheldon, Michael, Brian and Kevin, and a sister-in-law, Pat.  He was predeceased by his parents, and a brother, Wayne.   In keeping with Randy’s wishes there will be no visitation.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home, 149 Herring Cove Road, on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 1:00 pm.  Interment will follow the service at St. John's Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Randy to a charity of your choice.
