I only met Susan a handful of times but from the first time we chatted it was like talking to an old friend. She made you feel comfortable, she was so warm and just a sweet, genuine soul. Georgia, Frank - she loved you both so much. It was apparent in every story she told and how you all were together. To know her and your family as a whole has been a privilege. Thinking of you both in this difficult time. ❤️

Susan was one of the funniest story tellers I have ever met!
And she was a Master at holding “the floor” with the attention of everyone in the room, endlessly.
No small feat in a room always full of Nfld women (amongst many others) who were ‘chomping at the bit’ to steal the floor from anyone who let their story go on too long at a party.
She knew when she “had us” and it was especially hilarious when she would start adding Fantastical details to a story that had started off being mostly true!
I for one would always call her on it saying ”okay now Susan, you’re clearly just making it up as you go now sister ”
but we all kept listening anyway, because it was always such a ridiculously funny story and she was so entertaining!!
I will never stop missing her and never stop smiling when I think of any of her unforgettable tales.
Rest In Peace my Beautiful Friend
Sending all our love and deepest condolences to Frank and Georgia. And all of her family,
and to all of her countless Friends who loved her as much as we did xoxo

Frank & Georgia,
Words cannot express how heartbroken we are to hear of Susan’s passing. Although we didn’t know each other well, I have fond memories of chatting with one another as we proudly watched our girls play HCU summer soccer together that Frank would always volunteer to coach for them. Susan was such a warm, calm & gentle soul which was so refreshing that it drew me to her and I only wish we had gotten to know each other better and would have become friends. It was easy to see how close the 3 of you were and that Susan was the glue of your family. When she talked about Georgia, you got the sense that not only were they mom & daughter but they were also best friends with each other. Our deepest & heartfelt sympathies to all those who knew & loved her. May she forever Rest In Peace. God bless.

Georgia and Frank, my heart aches with you both and with all of Susie's beautiful family and with the many kind, wonderful friends. My heart goes out to you all, I wish comfort and strength.
Susie you are a bright light in me. It is so easy to find oddles of words you fill to the top, actually overflow - the ones jumping out at me right now are - unique, strong, precious, absolutely adorable, beautiful inside and out, the kindest most generous, loyal, creative person I've been fortunate enough to know.
You had sunshine when I first met you, 4 years old, you in a little pink tutu skirt, big, blue, blueberry eyes - running around the house laughing and of course, singing - which, if I remember correctly, you did not want to ever take that tutu skirt off - fearless and extremely curious about everything - you never changed. I am in awe as these thoughts flood my mind - your incredible insight and your sincere interest and always your honest opinion.
Susie, you've touched so many lives with your never ending compassion and joy, lifted many, many hearts, the world - always better and brighter with your light. Thank you for giving the gift of so many belly laughs and great memories.
Well Susie Mac, my little Golden Nugget, one of the greatest treasures in my life.
"I'll see you later toots."
XOXOXO
Always, your friend,
Connie

I have very fond memories of Susan in our youthful days when our families lived in the same building. I was first captivated by her striking beauty, gorgeous smile, and her overall radiance. When I got to know her, I came to realize she was equally as beautiful on the inside. We enjoyed many heartfelt and meaningful conversations. Her creative talents and artistry are endless and indescribable. My family are absolutely heartbroken at this colossal loss to her wonderful family. Our condolences go out to Frank, Georgia, her Dear Mother, Rhoda, and all of her family and loved ones. Clearly this beautiful woman touched so many lives and may Susan rest in eternal peace. Love, Natalie, Christine, and Catherine McDonald

Susan, you are such a beautiful, kind, generous person. It was my honor to know you and be your friend. None of us knows what the next steps are after death, but I believe love and good energy can stay with you and carry you to your next place. I am sending you with the most powerful love and gratitude. You did so much for so many and you will be missed. To your family I wanted to share some of my funny memories. As you know she traveled for work; on those odd occasions I would get to see her in person. Last time we seen each other in person was 2018 when she tried to teach me how to floss. Not my teeth but floss the dance move. I must say she was really good at it!!! She said her daughter had taught her. I tried to learn to Susan's delight but unfortunately, we both decided I was hopeless after a few good belly laughs. The both of us ran around that evening and had a wonderful time. As the evening went on I noticed she was missing? I looked everywhere for her. I finally found her in her room in PJ'S that were a full onsie style with an older lady from the airport that was stranded till the next day when she could catch another flight. On this trip a business trip she had extended herself to help someone in need. I was so amazed by her compassion and empathy to help other. I was also amazed at those PJ's!!!
Susan you will be missed the world grew a little dimmer with your departure, but the night sky became a little brighter by you joining all the other stars in the heavens.
Thank you for the time and energy you gave me.

Sue always brightened up the room, physically and virtually. There are many memories I have of her as an aspiring leader to many, someone who was highly skilled, experienced and impactful. But my most fondest memory of her, as simple as it was, was when she dusted off her guitar and sang a virtual rendition to us. Her ability to lift one's soul and bring peace was her power. Be it through music or her paintings, I always appreciated the calm she brought in the midst of any storm.
We will miss you Sue.
