I'm sorry to hear of Ms. Cowie's passing. I have many fond memories of visiting her as a child with my father and as an adult. I always enjoyed our visits and her many stories. I will always remember her love for animals and her dogs Buffy, Kyle, and Sam who she loved very much and all lived in the lap of luxury. She had incredible style and always looked like $1 million bucks, we will only be so lucky if we can be stylish as her. She was one of a kind and will be dearly missed.

To Muriel's family, On behalf of the Ladies Division of Oakfield Golf and Country Club I wish to extend our deepest sympathy. Muriel and Sam were dedicated members of our club and enjoyed playing there for many years. Muriel was our Ladies Division President in 1977 and we are always so grateful for the volunteer work she completed on the Division's behalf. I personally had the opportunity to play with Muriel in her last years as a member. I remember her pleasant personality and how she enjoyed the game.
