Obituary of Bruce D Crowe

Crowe, Bruce Dennis- Age 88 of Harrietsfield.

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce D Crowe, age 88 from Harrietsfield. He is survived by his wife of 55yrs, Shirley (Hum); daughters Victoria and Suzanne (Shaun); 3 grand-children Brittney, Makhi and Chyna: many nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by his son Michael; parents, Sidney Earl Crowe and Mary Belle Dalton; his brothers Gordon, Sidney (Karl), Ronald and Kenneth.

Bruce was born in Truro, February 23, 1934. He was a Seaman on the H.M.C.S Sackville and sailed on the great lakes, deep sea and coastal. He worked in Goose Bay Labrador, Toronto and Halifax as a Checker in the I.L.A 1341. Bruce retired after 37 years in 1996.

Bruce loved gardening, bird watching and playing cards with his family. He enjoyed relaxing afternoons with his wife Shirley and dog Koko taking in some good movies on tv.

Arrangements have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road.  In keeping with Bruce’s wishes there will be no visitation. A private Family service will be held.  To place online condolences please visit www.walkfh.com
