Obituary of John Francis Borden

John Francis Borden- Age 68 of Halifax, A phenomenal retired employee of HRM, and a proud son of the late William John Borden, Lincolnville Guysborough County was received into Gods loving embrace after an exhausting battle with Parkinson’s Disease.  John was a devoted wrestling fan and he loved the music artist James Brown.  John is survived by his daughters, Christine, Barbara Roberts and Kathy; sister, Iris.  John was predeceased by his son, Daniel Borden. Special thanks to the staff of Caritas Residence for the excellent care John received.  Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road.  In keeping with Johns wishes there will be no visitation, John was spiritually supported by his beloved cousin Rev Elaine Walcott (Joe) Elaine Walcott will officiate a private service.  A burial will be at a later date.  To place online condolences please visit www.walkerfh.com
