Obituary of John Joseph Reyno

Reyno, John Joseph "Jackie", age 72, of Herring Cove. 

It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the passing of Jackie at home on Dec. 21, 2022. Born in Magog, QC, on May 14, 1950, he was the son of the late Carvel Walter Reyno and Frances Marie (Power) Reyno. 

Jackie worked a full career on the Halifax waterfront as a member of the ILA Local 1341 as a checker. 

Surviving are his sister, Christine Anne Power Reyno Holland; brother, Thomas Edward Reyno (Kathleen); nieces, Elizabeth, Selena and Samantha; nephew, Jacob. 

Visitation to take place on Thursday Dec. 29th from 1-3 pm at J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, with the funeral service to take place in the chapel at 3pm.  Burial to take place at St. Paul's Cemetery, Herring Cove. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
