Mary was always so kind and a pleasure to speak to. She took great care of the students at lunch time and they enjoyed having her in the classroom. We were all lucky to have had the chance to get to know her. She was always so thoughtful and brought in flowers from her beautiful trees. They made everyone smile when they walked into the staff room. Thinking of her family and friends during this difficult time.

I knew Mary for many years during my time as a teacher and principal at John W MacLeod Fleming Tower School. Mary was always kind and caring with the students. We knew that they were safe and well cared for when Mary was with them. When Mary left school a few years ago I thought of her often, expecting to see her come through the front entrance. My condolences to her family and friends. Sending love and light at this difficult time.

Bucci Family Mary and I worked together at Dalhousie Law School. She was extremely good at her job, never missed a detail, was good-humoured and level-headed when we our work involved occasional bursts of chaos. She was a great co-worker and a special, dear person. She adored her family. I feel privileged to have known her. My deepest sympathy to you all. -Jill Shlossberg

We were deeply saddened to hear of Mary’s passing. She was one of the kindest souls ever. We will never forget her thoughtfulness last year after Ron recovered from his stroke. Her love of animals was wonderful to behold and she also possessed an amazing green thumb. We will miss seeing her in the neighborhood. She always took the time to say hello and inquire how things were going. Our deepest sympathies to Laurie and her sons as they grieve the loss of this very special woman.

To Mary Bucci's Family: I was very sorry to read of Mary's death and send deepest sympathy to you all. Mary was, indeed, a kind, caring, and gentle person, as the students she lunch monitored at Ecole John W. MacLeod / Fleming Tower will attest to. It is at JWM/FT where I met Mary and I know that every person she engaged with, regardless of age, benefitted from being in her presence. Mary will be sorely missed by all. I knew Mary when I taught at John W. Macleod- Fleming Tower School. She indeed had the most tender heart and was one of the most compassionate people I have ever met. Every one of her lunch students adored her and she was able to effortlessly manage a diverse group of children whose respect for her was so evident. Her gentle manner and quiet friendliness made meeting her a special part of each day. Mary will be dearly missed and her beautiful spirit not forgotten-
