Obituary of D. Keith Devison

67, Glace Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 17, 2016. Born on September 10, 1949 in Glace Bay, he was a son of the late Frank and June (Wheeliker) Devison. Dad was a loving kind hearted man; there was never an end to his patience with his children and grandchildren. His encouraging words always made us feel like we could do or be anything we wanted in life. The love dad had for his family will carry on in our hearts for eternity. We trust that dad's soul is now at peace. You truly were an amazing man. We love you. He is survived by his daughters, Wanetta Devison (David), Wanda (Kevin) Cormier; son, Raymond Devison (Jenny); grandchildren, Jonathan, Kailey, Kyle, Jessica, Dion, Ricky and Erica; great-granddaughter, Charlie; brother, Derek. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Roderick and Violet Devison; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Mary Wheeliker. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where a celebration of Keith’s life will be held on Friday, October 28 from 2-4 PM. Interment to take place at a later date.
