Dear Linda, I was terribly upset when I heard of Dave's passing. He was such a great neighbour and a very good man. He will be missed by all who knew him. His many kindnesses will remain in our memory for many a year. Pam will probably attend the funeral service at Bethany. for reasons you may have heard I cannot be present in person, but I shall be with you in spirit. WE would also like to express our Sympathy at this time. I have know Dave for many years as Ivy was a 4H leader so I was at his home different times for meetings. It was a girls club so the boys were an attraction as we were growing up. Dave`s Dad built a compressor of which we are still using since my father passed away. Dave came by his work so honestly. Have hope in tomorrow, have faith in the everlasting, and take comfort in the love of family & friends.

My sincere condolences to all of Courtney family on Dave's passing. I have so many great memories of Dave and family growing up. The navy brought so many families together over the years but a few, such as yourselves, always held a special spot. Dad has always spoke so highly of Dave. I hope that memories of better times will be in your minds and that they will warm your hearts at this difficult time. Thoughts and prayers are with you all as you lean upon each other in the days ahead.

Brian Campbell posted a condolence
Please accept my condolences for your loss. The Courtneys and Campbells have long been good neighbours and friends and Dad always spoke fondly of growing up with Dave and yourself. Dad greatly respected his mechanical acumen and enjoyed working on projects with him. I could tell by the mischievous smirk on Dad's face when others reminisced about their collective experiences that great fun was had. Please extend well wishes to Linda, John, and Catherine. My hope is that Dave finds Dad to help him with whatever he's working on right now. Because if he hasn't you know Grandpa Campbell will be trying to assign them something to do!

Time does not stand still in loving memories, and strange as it may seem I remember with pride the years in the Navy i served with David. As to day is Remembrance Day it was always good to see David at the service in Point Pleasant park in our retirement years. To Dave and his family my thoughts and prayers are with you in your personal memories.. David Bakody
