Obituary of William F. Brewer

BREWER, William Frederick Nathan, Middle Musquodoboit, NS, 75. Surrounded by his loving family, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William (Billy) Brewer on November 7, 2016 at the Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital. Born on May 16, 1941, in Halifax Billy was the husband of the late Audrey (Roberts) Brewer. Billy was a member of the International Longshoremen’s Association Local 269 for 48 years. Billy was an avid hunter and loved going to the camp with the boys. He is survived by his sons; Dwayne (Mariea) Brewer; Mark (Dale) Brewer; his Daughters; Kim (Doug) Barkhouse; and Annette (Shawn) Wilson, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, as well as brothers; Albert, Darrell, Johny, Dale and Derick, sisters Leora and Lorena honorary brothers and sisters; Clarence (Sheryl); Raymond (Sara); and Alvira (Wayne). Billy will be dearly missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace. A special thanks to the Nursing staff and Doctors at the Hospital. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd. Halifax, NS (902) 477-5601, where visitation will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 1-3p.m., with a service to follow at 3p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
