Obituary of Claudia Beatrice Collins

COLLINS, Claudia Beatrice- Age 80 of Halifax, it is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a loving wife and beautiful mother, Claudia Beatrice Collins.  Born in Halifax, she was a daughter to the late Gerald and Francis (Grant) Delaney.

Claudia is survived by her husband, Roy E. Collins; children, Darlene (Alan), Jacqueline (Johnny), and Robert; stepchildren, Brent and Rhonda; grandchildren, Tyler (Sabrina), Mitchell, Joshua (Jules), and Zachary; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Jack (Diane); many nieces, and nephews. And countless lifetime friends.  She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert; son, Kevin; grandson, Jerry; brother, Gerald; sister, Loretta; sister-in-law, Nadine.  The family would like to thank the staff at the QEII V.G. Site, floor 6B for all their loving care with Claudia.

Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. In keeping with Claudia’s wishes, there will be a visitation held on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.  A funeral service will take place Friday, June 16, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by a reception.
