Obituary of Dennis Ronald Lawrence Cleveland

Cleveland, Dennis Ronald Lawrence:  65, Halifax, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023, surrounded by his loving chosen family.  Born in Hubbards, he was a son of the late Granville G. and Adela (Awalt) Cleveland.  Dennis had a kind heart with a mischievous personality.  He was always passing out compliments, or doing something silly to make people laugh.  Dennis is survived by his siblings, Paul (Fern), Barry (Lynn), and Gloria, his former spouse, Patricia Wesley and her children, who were like Dennis’ own, Roland, Charles, Stephanie, Tracey, and Alexandria (Albert), as well his chosen grandchildren, especially Tyesha and Kyesha, who loved him like a Grampie, many nieces and nephews, including Tammy and Layden, and great-niece, Kaydence.  He was predeceased by his parents, a chosen daughter, Tara, a sister, Carolyn Paris, as well as former significant others, Joyce Bond and Ann Meade.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service held in memory of Dennis on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 11 AM at J. Albert Walker Funeral Home Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Dennis to the Canadian Cancer Society
