Paula, my heartfelt condolences to you and your family. Connie and I had many "golf chats" and golf course "reviews" and no matter what kind of day I was having, I could always be assured that if Connie was dropping by, it would be with a smile and to have a pleasant chat. Always turned my day around. She had that innate ability to smooth the waters with her personality and genuine interest in others. She will truly be missed.

Dear Basil and family, although I knew this day was coming I am heartbroken. It has been my privilege to be Connie’s friend. Connie was a gem and would do more in one day than others do in a week. I will miss her in so many ways but having her gifts (Christmas ornaments, quilted wall-hanging, mittens, slippers, the list goes on) will keep her close by. Connie loved her family so much and I am so very sorry for your loss.
With love, Mary Sue xo and family (Terry, Katie, Niklas and Sophia)

Sending my deepest condolences.
I had the pleasure of working with Connie for many years. To say she was one of a kind, is an understatement. I will always remember her amazing baking (especially her cookies) and her Christmas crafts. Connies presence was like a warm hug.
She will be missed greatly, by so many.
With love,
Samantha Nicholson

My sincere condolences Basil to you, your daughters and families. Connie and I first crossed paths in high school. Life took us in different directions but thoughts of Connie never left. I was blessed to meet up with Connie and Basil when their address
(apt bldg) was mine also ! I recognized she and Basil the moment we met at our BCSilver High School reunion prior to that address move. Time moves on but Connie’s candle will never fade. Rest In Peace my dear friend.

Basil and Family. So sorry to hear of Connie's passing. Her obituary was very beautiful and told a great story of how she spent her life. It sounds like she certainly dedicated much of her time helping others. What better thing can a person be remembered for? I have so much enjoyed playing cards with Connie this last year. She always spoke so lovingly about her family. I am sure it was her greatest joy.

Basil and family and to the Flemming Crew
I received word of Connie's passing last evening and many memories came flashing back to me. I suppose it's been close to 50 years since I last saw Connie but how do you forget your childhood and best childhood friends and classmates. Connie and I started school in the Harbour together and went from grade 1 to grade 7 with 2 other students in our grade, Glen Gray from Bald Rock and Stanley Gray from Pennant, we took turns coming first in the class year after year and yes, we even had a secret club, who was in it no can't tell but Beth or Sharon might remember secret meetings they were not allowed to attend. I sit here remembering the good times in the Harbour when we were all free to roam the Harbour as long as we were home for supper. R.I.P. Connie you certainly deserve a rest, seems like you were busy after all those years spent in the Harbour.
