Obituary of Vincent Patrick Junior Devereaux

In his early childhood, he enjoyed playing various sports such as baseball, basketball, and hockey.  To this day he watched them and many other sports on T.V.  He was a die-hard Montreal Canadian Fan.  He also enjoyed going to wrestling matches with his mom.  He lived in Spryfield his entire life and was a true Spryfielder, who was so loveable and with a great sense of humor.  He could dish out smart remarks that certainly made you laugh.

The love of his life survives him, Margot Dechenne; her daughters, Alicia and Gabbi, whom he thought the world of; brother, Terrance; sister, Lynn; nephew, John; niece, Tayrn; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom he loved dearly.  He will also be missed by his special Dog, Moose.  His grandparents, Patrick and Elizabeth Devereaux, and Ralph and Susanne Pittman, predeceased him.

Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax.  In keeping with Vincent’s wishes there will be no visitation.  A funeral service will take place in the Chapel on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow.  To place online condolences, please visit www.walkerfh.com.
