Obituary of Susan Anne Watts

Halifax, The family of Susan Anne Watts (nee Smith) are saddened to announce her passing on November 30, 2016. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Bessie (Cannon) Smith. Susan is survived by her loving husband, Lloyd; her children, Maryanne and Michael; her grandson, Matthew; her brothers, John and Jim. Susan and Lloyd were happily married for 49 and a half years. Susan cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her only grandchild Matthew. Right out of Secretarial School, she went to work with London Life Insurance. Susan enjoyed tole painting, knitting, and sewing. For vacations, she greatly enjoyed going on coach tours with Lloyd. Arrangements of under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd. where visitation will be held on Monday, December 5 from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, December 6 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with a reception to follow. Interment to take place at a later date. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Family flowers only please.
