So sorry to hear of George's passing. I met him thru my dad Fred Brackett and mom (Carolyn Slaunwhite) always spoke fondly of George. May god give strength to his family and may he rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to George's family. I remember how much fun he brought to his classmates who attended Sambro Memorial School. He was a leader and always designed some form of mischief and we all went along with it. I remember how kind and thoughtful he was when our father, Gus Henneberry, passed away. He was the first to call our family home and express his condolences to our mother and she was thankful. May he rest in peace knowing he made a difference and brought joy to friends. Pauline, Andy, Mark and family. So sad to hear of George's passing. I always remember the good times we had as kids when we would come down to Sambro to visit family. So many good memories. I know George will be missed by all.

George, you will be truly missed. Always ready to make a new friend or help an old friend in need. You loved to laugh and share your stories, some of them tall tales especially around the liars table at the club. It’s hard to believe we will never hear your voice again or share a conversation in person or by phone, but we know you are happy and healthy now getting reacquainted with loved ones and old friends. George was our neighbour and friend. A good hearted man who loved the ocean, sailing with the coast guard and cruising after retirement. He invited us into his home and told many stories of days with the coast guard and the adventures in his younger years. He enjoyed hanging out with friends at “The Club” (Mickey’s bowlarama), meeting people, cooking, and parties. He made many friends over the years and will be missed. Anne & Larry
