With great sadness Roger and I, Carolyn Morin read of the passing of a great lady, Doreen Foss. First met Doreen and Herb in Germany 1964, they took us under their wing and treated us like part of their family. Military life did not include wives but Doreen made sure no wife was left alone on special occasions, she took us all in, we were all so young and far away from home, she was like a mother to many of us. We keep in touch over the years, it was alway great to hear from her, even came to visit us once on her way to visit Lori. We will miss her greatly, her and Herb will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace beside Herb you are together again. We send our condolences to the family for their loss. Carolyn and Roger Morin Abbotsford BC
