to the Lordly family - Don was very very involved with the Old Burying Ground Foundation for a long time, and Betty was very much an active partner in his volunteer efforts over the years. We are so very sorry for your loss.

To the Lordly family,
I knew Betty through playing in the Westmount bridge club. She was always a lovely and gracious hostess. I still remember her delicious pecan pies. Over the past few years we'd see her out walking with her son Andru. She always greeted us with a cheerful smile.
We'll keep you all in our prayers.
Sincerely,
Pat (Dave) Tanner

Michael, Preben, Andrew & Matthew, My sincere condolences to you all. I remember your Mum so well from Westmount, a gracious, thoughtful person, always a warm greeting. Our families enjoyed many cross country ski trips together; wonderful memories. Love seeing the photos you've posted of her and your family. - Lesley Tregunno

Dave and I were saddened to hear of Betty's passing. Betty and Don were wonderful Rumrunner neighbors, and I was always happy to chat about our mutual gardening endeavors. We send our condolences to all. May happy memories help in this difficult time.

I was very sorry to read this news and offer my condolences to all of Betty and Don’s family. Betty was on the search committee that brought me to St Paul’s Church in 1985, and she and Don were both active and committed leaders on whom I leaned many times throughout my nineteen years there. I will miss Betty for the intelligence, compassion and gentle humour that she brought to everything she did.

Sincerest condolences from our family. We were delighted when we moved to Robert Murphy Drive 20+ years ago to connect again with your Mom and Dad, it was a kind of reunion after years of me growing up at St. Paul's. Both your Mom and Dad were always kind and engaging -I know for a fact that they were with all our neighbours. With our 4 kids, we had a busy household -your Mom would always ask about each and everyone. I could be wrong, but when you have a similar sized family, there is an unspoken kinship. -Adam and Tonya Malay (Gabrielle, Rachel, Luke & Sophia).
